Berlin is located in northeastern Germany and is known for its flat terrain and lack of mountains. However, there are a few hills and elevated areas in and around the city that provide some elevation and scenic views. The highest natural point in Berlin is the Teufelsberg, a man-made hill created from rubble after World War II. The Teufelsberg offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding area. Additionally, the Müggelberge in the southeastern part of Berlin are a series of hills that reach heights of up to 115 meters above sea level. While Berlin may not have traditional mountains, these elevated areas offer a taste of the great outdoors within the city limits.
